Choosing Effective Acne Creams - Side Effects?
When you're suffering from acne, would you unknowingly wish to buy creams or medications that actually can make your condition worse? It's not uncommon for people who are uninformed to buy acne creams containing ingredients to which they are allergic. These are found primarily in non-natural acne care products. Acne creams are the most widely used products for acne treatment, and generally the most affordable. You'll find them in pharmacies, grocery stores warehouse stores and a variety of other outlets. All that said, acne creams can be solution for both light and severe acne problems. Seriousness Of The Problem For mild to average cases, topical acne creams can be used by applying on the skin to cure the problem. For cases beyond mild and average, or simply severe, systemic acne medication may be used. Systemic acne medication can be both something that is consumed and applied externally on the skin. These acne creams are available on prescription from a physician. They are a much stronger medication. In many of dermatology centers, for cases that are slightly serious, it is usually advised to take both the different types of medicines. According to experts, dual-way cure is better because the problem is cured both externally and internally. For example, if it is due to hormonal imbalances, you would be asked to take an oral prescription medication that stabilizes the hormones and apply acne creams that will repair and regain your skin and the scarred acne areas. Contents Banzoyl peroxide is the active chemical ingredient found in most acne creams. This Topical Antimicrobial acne medication works by killing the bacteria which lead to acne, and reducing the oiliness of the skin. Besides just killing the acne, this chemical also helps antibiotics such as erythromycin and clindamycin to work more effectively, assuming they have also been prescribed. Some common acne creams also contain natural elements. Ingredients include salicylic acid, licochalone, chamomile, aloe vera, and feverfew. These do not have side effects. These types of acne cream are better because they do not only kill the acne, but they will penetrate inside and deal with the cause of the problem directly.
